Classical Presentations LLC is auditioning singers
for upcoming productions and concerts:

NEW OPERA-BALLET PRODUCTION based on an original story with music contextually selected from the existing Baroque repertoire. Staged/costumed/choreographed production with a Baroque orchestra.
Dates: Full Production premiere - October, 2012; short promotional version performance - April, 2012. New York City.
Voices sought: Soprano, Mezzo-Soprano, Tenor, Baritone.
Audition Requirements: One aria from standard repertoire and two contrasting arias from the Baroque period.
Suggested Audition Repertoire:
Soprano: Furie Terribili (Armida, G. F. Handel "Rinaldo") / Da tempeste il legno infranto (Cleopatra, G. F. Handel "Giulio Cesare")
Mezzo-Soprano: Non disperar , chi sa (Cleopatra, G. F. Handel "Giulio Cesare") / Lascia la spina cogli la rosa (Piacere, G. F. Handel "Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno," HWV 46a)
Tenor: Empio, per farti guerra (Bajazet, Handel "Tamerlano")
Baritone: Se il cor guerriero (A. Vivaldi "Tito Manlio")

NEW SHORT OPERA FOR CHILDREN "Queen Esther" by Albert Markov (premiered in New York in February, 2010). Fully staged/costumed/choreographed production with orchestra. Sung in English.
Dates: March, 2012 and Feb., 2013
Roles/singers sought: Queen Esther (soprano); Mordecai (baritone); Haman (bass); King (tenor)
Audition Requirements: At least two contrasting arias from standard repertoire and one aria/song in English.

FUNDRAISING CHARITY OPERA GALA
Dates: TBA
Voices sought: All
Audition Requirements: Three arias from the standard opera repertoire.
